My Brightest Diamond is cooler than all of us and she's at Urban Lounge tonight | Buzz Blog
We need your help.

Newspapers and media companies nationwide are closing or suffering mass layoffs since the coronavirus impacted all of us starting in March. City Weekly's entire existence is directly tied to people getting together in groups--in clubs, restaurants, and at concerts and events--which are the industries most affected by new coronavirus regulations.

Our industry is not healthy. Yet, City Weekly has continued publishing thanks to the generosity of readers like you. Utah needs independent journalism more than ever, and we're asking for your continued support of our editorial voice. We are fighting for you and all the people and businesses hardest hit by this pandemic.

You can help by making a one-time or recurring donation on PressBackers.com, which directs you to our Galena Fund 501(c)(3) non-profit, a resource dedicated to help fund local journalism. It is never too late. It is never too little. Thank you. DONATE

Dear GYA, It's not often that I'll admit when something, or someone is cool, *ties hair into a perfectly messy manbun* but there's something about My Brightest Diamond that makes me rethink the definition of "cool." You know what I mean? *cracks open a can of coconut water.* What do you think about My Brightest Diamond? - Blake Yorkler, Salt Lake City

Blake, she's pretty cool...in fact, she's cooler than me and you. Here's the details on tonight's show:

Detroit-based experimental band My Brightest Diamond will be at Urban Lounge this evening. DJ Flash & Flare is also on the bill. The show starts at 9 p.m. Tickets are $15.

A few other options for tonight:

DJ Matty Mo will be hosting Willie's Wednesdays at Willie's Lounge. There's no cover. The party starts at 9 p.m.

Hardcore Metal band Stray From The Path will be at In The Venue. Kublai Khan and Fit For A King are also on the bill. The show starts at 6 p.m. Tickets are $14.
