On July 8th, from 6:30 to 9 PM, Snowbasin Resort will team up with Brenda Lobbato of Washington's St. Michelle Wine Estates to host a 5-course wine pairing dinner, including live entertainment.

Many of the wines included are special orders, not normally available in Utah.

The menu includes a social appetizer of mushroom and gruyere crostini, tartlets with brie cream and fruit and roasted marinated pork tenderloin, peppadew and green apple and choice of Chateau Ste. Michelle Indian Wells Cabernet Sauvignon, Columbia Crest H3 Sauvignon Blank, or Champagne Nicolas Feuillatte Brut NV. A salad of mache and watercress with watermelon, basil, goat cheese and honey apple vinaigrette is paired with Ste. Michelle Eroica Riesling. Uova Da Raviolo, ricotta and egg yolk filled black pepper ravioli with pancetta browned butter is paired with Antinori Castello Della Sala Bramito Chardonnay. Coq Au Vin, red wine braised Cornish game hen with foraged mushrooms, cauliflower mash and pan seared haricot vert is paired with Erath Estate Selection Pinot Noir. For dessert, a warm vanilla cake with maple-caramel sauce served with French vanilla bean ice cream is paired with a Torres Moscatel from Spain.

The cost for the St. Michelle dinner at Earl's Lodge is $75 per person and includes all food and wine pairings. Designated drivers can enjoy dinner without wine for $55. Attendees must be 21 or over.

Reservations are mandatory and can be made at 801-620-1021.
