Tonight we have a pair of album release shows for you to check out in Utah County. But before that, not too many albums came out online, but it's still a fine sampling of music that you'll probably dig—or at least you might take an interest in if you're into rock or techno. So browse through the small selection below, and then join us for a brief chat about the two shows happening this weekend.

The first of the two shows in Provo happens at Velour, where we'll see the latest album from Go Suburban. This is a four-piece alternative band out of Sandy who have been playing across the Wasatch Front for roughly three years. They had a fantastic self-titled debut EP back in 2014 that garnered them some attention, but didn't really launch the band into anything big at the time. For the past few months, they've been recording their first full-length album, WWDK, which has been sounding pretty cool from the short clips released on social media. You can snag a copy of the album tonight as they play with The Love§trange, Okkah and Tal Haslam opening. Tickets are $8 and the doors open at 8 p.m.


Meanwhile, a few blocks away at Muse Music, we'll see a split 7" release between Keyes and Wearing Thin. Keyes are a post-hardcore band out of San Diego, and we'll let you check them out on your own since we focus on locals in these posts. Wearing Thin are a badass post-hardcore band based in SLC with members coming from multiple rock and metal bands, to the point where you might as well call them a supergroup. The band consists of Tylor Blackburn, Jace Garner, Sean Jurewicz, Maclaine Lewis and Nico Lee. The two have combined efforts to release this split 7", which you can grab tonight as they perform with Despite Despair and Vitae opening. Tickets are just $7 and the doors open at 8 p.m.
