Wine Wednesday: Decoy Winemaker Dinner

On Thursday, October 20th, Manoli's will team up with Vine Lore Wine and Spirits to host a winemaker's dinner featuring Decoy estate wines from Sonoma and Napa. On hand to discuss the evening's wines will be Decoy/Duckhorn Vineyards winemaker John Kapranopolous. 

The dinner begins at 7:30 and the menu and wine pairings are as follows: 

Soupa: Cauliflower Soup, Pears, Roasted Wild Mushrooms,Pickled Celery, Avgolemono Foam + 2014 - Decoy Sauvignon Blanc

Garides: Spicy Coriander Grilled Shrimp, Roasted Spaghetti Squash,Loukaniko, Cider Metaxa Reduction+ 2013 - Decoy Chardonnay

Htapodi: Smoked Octopus, Charred Citrus, Toasted Orzo, Apples, Celery Vinaigrette + 2013 - Decoy Pinot Noir

Katharismó: Pear-Celery Sorbet

Kounelopita: Spiced Tomato Braised Rabbit, Crispy Phyllo,Smoked Greek Yogurt, Frisee Salad + 2013 - Decoy Zinfandel

Glyka: Maple Olive Oil Panna Cotta, Cider, Toasted Pistachios, Sea Salt + 2014 - Decoy Red Blend
