In The Loop: 12/10/16. Celebrating Good Times In Bitter Cold

Awesome events to check out from December 11-24.

Hello to all you people trying to keep from freezing this weekend in our oddly hexagon-shaped state. I've lived in Utah my entire life, and few years do I get so cold that I wish I were living elsewhere. It isn't just cold; it's bitter, the kind of cold that feels like someone put a nail in your arm and hammered it to the bone. I'd like to throw a personal thank you to all the Best Of Utah winners who came out to the party we threw at Clark Planetarium last week. It was quite fun chatting with people and watching the inebriated play with tornado machines. As you're reading this, I'm probably in Provo tonight for Velour's BOTB Finals, which we'll talk about on Monday. In the meantime, here's two weeks worth of cool events for you to check out, as well as a picture of people trying to work a 3D grid at the Planetarium.
