No Such Animal: new album/release show
Alt-rockers No Such Animal are back at it again with a fresh new album, and an exciting release show to boot. These young rockers play sounds that seem way beyond their age. They’re a comfort for longtime fans of rock, and a great introduction for younger listeners who haven’t listened to a lot in the genre. Their new album The Entertainer is an exciting romp that, despite its 12-song course, feels like it comes to an end too soon. They added fan favorite “Witches in Salt Lake City” to the mix of new material, giving a good sense of familiarity while exploring the new. If you’re a fan of veteran rock bands like SLC’s own Royal Bliss or Michigan rockers Pop Evil, No Such Animal is a perfect addition to your library. On top of the new tunes, No Such Animal has a release show this weekend, where they’ll play the album in its entirety—not something to miss. Head out to the release show on Saturday, Nov 11 at 7:30 p.m. at the legendary Velour Live Music Gallery. Tickets for the all-ages show are $10 and can be found at 24tix.com.
