HEALTH CARE CONFERENCE
Now you really have something to worry about: your health care. The Utah Health Policy Project helps navigate the unique and persistent challenges that face Utah, and how you can help create a system that works with or without the Affordable Care Act. The Affordable Car Act: Will a New President Make a Difference? includes a panel of experts including Lorena Riffo-Jenson, director of government contracts at Molina Healthcare; Robert Spendlove, Utah House of Representatives; and Austin Bordelon of Leavitt Partners. If there is a short window of bipartisan cooperation, what will they attempt to fix? And does the change of administration mean that challenges to the validity of the ACA will go away, or will health reform remain partisan and controversial for many more years? Utah Cultural Celebration Center, 1355 W. 3100 South, West Valley City, 801-433-2299, 8:30 a.m.-4:30 p.m., Wednesday, Dec. 7, $30, Bit.ly/2gpYw2q
