24 Hour Comic Book Day

SATURDAY 10.3

The average person might look at a comic book and think, “People make a living off this stuff? I could make one of these.”

Well, now’s your chance to prove it. 24 Hour Comics Day is upon us again, and it’s the perfect opportunity for aspiring, up-and-coming and struggling artists to showcase their talent, but with a catch: You must create (start to finish) a full 24-page comic book in a single day.

Night Flight Comics at Library Square will be hosting the event this year and will be open for the full 24 hours—starting at Midnight on October 3. There are a limited number of spots available for artists to participate, so if you feel like you’ve got the skills and the drive to make a comic in 24 straight hours, get in touch with Mimi at Night Flight to reserve a spot. At the very least, stop by and see what it takes to create a comic. It’s harder than it sounds.
