New DVDs Tuesday, July 31

Four ridiculously good-looking BFFs (Emma Roberts, Tamsin Egerton, Shanika Warren-Markland and Ophelia Lovibond) become entangled with ridiculously good-looking (and stolen) diamonds. British, no subtitles. (Universal)

Hatfields & McCoys
The History Channel miniseries about Confederate buds Anse Hatfield (Kevin Costner) and Randall McCoy (Bill Paxton) returning home from the Civil War and instantly starting their own epic familial feud. Based on a true hillbilly story. (Sony)

Carnal Innocence
A distraught, world-famous violinist (Gabrielle Anwar) moves back to her Mississippi hometown to chill out and falls for a local (Colin Egglesfield), only to learn that he might be a serial killer. Sorry, it’s a Lifetime movie—no nudity. (Arc)

A high school student (Miley Cyrus) falls in love with one of those good-for-nothing musicians (Douglas Booth). Then there’s some subplot about Facebooking and how “You can change your status, but not your heart.” Ewww. (Lionsgate)

Sand Sharks
An earthquake cracks open a crater beneath the ocean and unleashes sharks what can swim through sand! And they’re coming to eat idiot teens partying on the beach! And Brooke Hogan! This sounds like a win-win-win all around, really. (Phase 4)
