A Celebratory Opening: Music from Leipzig and Provo

NOVA’s Subscription Series opens with Mendelssohn’s beloved Octet for Strings and a haunting work by Utah composer Michael Hicks of BYU. Internationally renowned soprano Celena Shafer sings a jubilant cantata by Bach with baroque ensemble.
