Comedian Arie Spears is one of those rare people who realized his destiny early in life. Though his style and routine have evolved over time, his talent as a performer was evident when he began his career in stand-up at the age of 14. By 16, he was already appearing on Def Comedy Jam and Showtime at the Apollo. He quickly gained recognition for his quick wit, charisma and spot-on impersonations. After moving to Los Angeles at 18, he jumped into acting jobs. His eight years as a cast member on Fox’s MadTV helped to firmly establish him in Hollywood.

Though he continues to work on various projects in front of the camera, he says that stand-up is his “bread and butter” and he tours constantly, performing at comedy clubs and theaters all over the country. Spears’ performance will have some moments when it will be a bit rough around the edges compared to Utah comics. However, those who enjoy well-crafted, professional stand-up will regret it if they miss this show.
