This weekend, celebrate Mother’s Day and families by joining a special celebration raising awareness of compassionate immigration reform, sponsored by the Salt Lake Dream Team. Later in the week, check out a variety of committee meetings at the Legislature covering everything from alcohol to Medicaid expansion.

For Our Mothers: A Celebration of Gratitude

The never-give-up activists of the Salt Lake Dream Team will be celebrating mothers this weekend and calling for humane immigration reform that won’t tear apart families of immigrants. Legislative Interim Committees
Wednesday, May 15
Hit the Hill on Wednesday for a full lineup of legislative committee meetings that may be affecting you if they’re passed into law. The Health & Human Services Committee will be hearing a report on where the state stands in regard to whether or not to expand Medicaid coverage to more than 100,000 currently uninsured Utahns.
