Mero and the Whole Internet Thing

I had to laugh at your recent article [“The Conservative Agenda,” June 18, City Weekly]. Not only is Paul Mero clueless about social networking, his own organization failed to register the .com extension of Sutherland Institute.

On top of that, its donation page sends a receipt as if it came from the SutherlandInstitute.com extension, so that site gets all kinds of replies about the goings-on in his hate-based organization. He’s well aware of that fact now, and he is aggressively trying to recapture the .com extension to save face. He may very well win the current ICANN dispute, but he’s showing his and many of his bretheren’s ineptness about the “whole Internet thing.”
