Beer In Hell--and Jordan Landing

In September, City Weekly correspondent Robin Brown told us her tale of the debauched Northwest premiere tour for Tucker Max's I Hope They Serve Beer In Hell, based on his book of the same name. At the time, chances about 50/50 that the indie flick would screen in Salt Lake City; it certainly didn't make it last week for its "Sept. 25!" opening date. So, where's the Beer? ---

At West Jordan's Jordan Landing Cinemark 24, of all places, beginning with a Midnight screening tonight and four daily showings after that. Here's the official blurb:

"A tireless and charismatic novelty seeker, Tucker Max (Matt Czuchry) tricks his buddy Dan into lying to his fiancee Kristy, so they can go to an legendary strip club three and a half hours away to celebrate Dan's last days of bachelorhood in proper style. Tucker drags their misanthropic friend Drew along for the ride, and before they know it, Tucker's pursuit of a hilarious carnal interest lands Dan in serious trouble with his both the law and his future wife. The ensuing blowout leaves Tucker uninvited to the wedding and ankle deep in a mess of his own creation. If he wants back into the wedding and the lives of his best friends, he'll have to find a way to balance the demands of friendship with his own narcissism and selfishness."

Advance reviews aren't great, but Tucker Max fans won't give a shit, nor should they--the trailer:
