Bored to Death: Season 2
Unlicensed detective Jonathan (Jason Schwartzman) teaches creative writing and gets dumped (again); Ray (Zack Galifinaikis) sells his Super Ray comic book and faces down Kevin Bacon; George (Ted Danson) gets high. Ah, Brooklyn. (HBO)

The Caller
A big-haired divorcee (Twilight’s big-haired Rachelle Lefevre) is tormented by a mysterious phone caller who threatens to kill her … in the past … as a child. Huh? How much further back can she go? She’s already using a landline. (Sony)

Fast Five
Dom (Vin Diesel) and Brian (Paul Walker) reunite to pull off, you guessed it, one last high-speed heist—while being chased by The Rock (Dwayne Johnson) and an army of corrupt feds in Brazil. Not homoerotic in the least. (Universal)

The Presence
A woman (Mira Sorvino) is haunted/romanced by a ghost in an isolated Oregon cabin—until her stupid boyfriend (Weeds’ Justin Kirk) shows up and kills the mood by insensitively mentioning, “Aren’t you an Academy Award winner?” (Lionsgate)

The Undefeated
Says here, “The Undefeated chronicles Governor Sarah Palin’s rise from obscurity to become one of America’s new generation of leaders.” So it’s either a sci-fi comedy or a porno. Or … both! How did this tank at the box office? (Arc Entertainment)
