We need your help.

Newspapers and media companies nationwide are closing or suffering mass layoffs since the coronavirus impacted all of us starting in March. City Weekly's entire existence is directly tied to people getting together in groups--in clubs, restaurants, and at concerts and events--which are the industries most affected by new coronavirus regulations.

Our industry is not healthy. Yet, City Weekly has continued publishing thanks to the generosity of readers like you. Utah needs independent journalism more than ever, and we're asking for your continued support of our editorial voice. We are fighting for you and all the people and businesses hardest hit by this pandemic.

You can help by making a one-time or recurring donation on, which directs you to our Galena Fund 501(c)(3) non-profit, a resource dedicated to help fund local journalism. It is never too late. It is never too little. Thank you. DONATE

Bra Busters, Fatal Rescue, Fear the Forest, Forest of Death & The Spirit

Bra Busters Scientists Jelena Jensen, Zoe Britton, Lexxi Tyler and others perform the valuable public service of testing undergarments in high-stress conditions for premature breakage—the story that Consumer Reports dared not touch! Or cup. (
Fatal Rescue Steve Guttenberg (!) stars in the oxymoronically titled tale of a child in a well—and only a firefighter (Guttenberg) can save him! Or not, as the name implies. Hey, he went to the police academy, not the firefighter academy. (
Fear the Forest A group of pretty college kids venture in the woods for the weekend, having somehow not seen the previous 500 movies about what happens to pretty college kids in the woods. This time, they’re terrorized by Bigfoot. (
Forest of Death In an Asian forest presumably uninhabited by Bigfoot, a detective and a TV reporter work to uncover the truth behind a series of murders of pretty college kids. Here’s an idea: Stay outta the damned woods already! (
The Spirit The Spirit fights crime and delivers hushed monologues in the animated City while hot babes (including Eva Mendes, Scarlett Johansson, Paz Vega and Stana Katic) help/hinder him. Dumb, but at least it’s not in The Forest. (
