Club Vegas has long been known as a “heavy metal bar,” according to owner Dusty Ash, but he’s ready to break the mold. In addition to live music on weekend evenings, Monday through Wednesday nights feature an eclectic range of options: Tuesdays feature karaoke, Wednesdays present Tech Noir with Reverend 23 and local recognition Thursdays. The rest of the week highlights Vegas’ traditional bread and butter, but rockabilly lovers often gather, too, to hear some swingin’ tunes.
Paulie Marcoux at Club Vegas has about 80 custom drinks under his belt, but nothing tops the eponymous Paulie’s Snowcone. It tastes exactly like Tigersblood of your youth—if the ice-cream man added a little something from his flask.

The New Lucky 13
Lucky 13 (1300 South 135 West) recently enjoyed a complete remodel along with a roadhouse vibe that reflects new owner and avid motorcyclist Jason Stucki’s sensibilities. He brought in personal Harley memorabilia to help decorate the fresh digs and expanded the club’s patio to cover 1,400 square feet. Stay posted for upcoming show listings. Lucky 13’s official grand re-opening will be held Nov. 13, but the kitchen and bar will be open starting Oct. 23.
