That's when Silver Fork Lodge will team up with Francis Fecteau of Libations, Inc. for a five-course Spanish wine pairing dinner featuring five different wines from Spain and five Spanish-style dinner dishes.
The tentative dinner courses and wine pairings are as follows:
Tapas: Vega Sindoa Chaparral '11/12 paired with a cabrales phyllo cheese roll and a chorizo-filled bacon-wrapped date
Soup: Bodegas Avanthia Godello '13 paired with a smooth and sweet white gazpacho
Salad: Bodegas Volver Tarima '13 paired with a squid and chorizo fresh tomato salad
Entree: Volver Tinto La Mancha '11/12 paired with an arroz con pollo with wild mushrooms
Dessert: Bodegas Atalaya Almansa '10/11 paired with a creamy Spanish rice pudding
Dinner begins at 6:30 PM with a cost of $50 per person for the dinner and wine pairings, tax and tip not included. Dinner without wine pairings can also be purchased separately for $25 pp.
