This weekend is an engaged citizen’s bonanza of events rolled out as part of the Excuse Me While I Change the World fundraiser. Over three nights, you can check out a fashion show, an art show and a concert, with all events helping to fight bullying, suicide, hunger and homelessness in Utah. Proceeds will support nonprofits such as The Legacy Initiative, Flip the Script, the American Foundation for Suicide Prevention and more. Tickets for all three days are $20; prices for individual events are listed below.
Every Body’s Different Fashion Show

This fashion show has a catwalk for the rest of us. By showing fashions from diverse cultures from around the world worn with pride by models of all different body types, the fashion show hopes to change the perception about how everybody looks as a means of ending bullying. Besides checking out styles and fashions crafted by local designers, you can also pick up fashion accessories and jewelry, with proceeds benefiting the event’s nonprofit partners. Art Needs No Labels Art Show

Will Sing for Food Concert

This event stacks a great lineup of local artists as they perform to help The Legacy Initiative, a nonprofit with a mission of ending homelessness and hunger through coordinated homeless outreach services and the spreading of sustainable community gardens.
