We need your help.

Newspapers and media companies nationwide are closing or suffering mass layoffs since the coronavirus impacted all of us starting in March. City Weekly's entire existence is directly tied to people getting together in groups--in clubs, restaurants, and at concerts and events--which are the industries most affected by new coronavirus regulations.

Our industry is not healthy. Yet, City Weekly has continued publishing thanks to the generosity of readers like you. Utah needs independent journalism more than ever, and we're asking for your continued support of our editorial voice. We are fighting for you and all the people and businesses hardest hit by this pandemic.

You can help by making a one-time or recurring donation on PressBackers.com, which directs you to our Galena Fund 501(c)(3) non-profit, a resource dedicated to help fund local journalism. It is never too late. It is never too little. Thank you. DONATE

What is your favorite catalog?

Joshua Deal: Abercrombie. Because their clothes rock!!!

Susan Kruithof: Harry & David. Who wouldn’t want to get a fruit of the month gift or better yet, a tower of treats!

Jesse Fruhwirth: When I was young, I really liked shopping for underwear in the JCPenney catalog, or the Sears catalog, or, you know, any underwear catalog.

Jackie Briggs: I browse through the Anthropologie home stuff and get sick with envy. As far as purchases go, not so much.

Lindsay Fenton: I’m totally obsessed with SkyMall. One day I hope to purchase many useless but awesome items.

Scott Renshaw: I just sigh wistfully for my lost youth while thumbing through my son’s Lego catalogs.

Rachel Scott: 1. Urban Outfitters—purely for the design aspects. 2: REI— because I am an outdoor-gear whore.

Nick Clark: My wife and I spent too much time browsing through a Magick catalog mistakenly delivered to our door. Lots of dragons and candles with just enough gothic sexual exercise equipment to keep the pages turning.

Lia Pretorius: Burpee’s gardening catalog gets me every time. If I had more land I’d plant one of everything they have for my grow zone. They even have good bugs that eat your bad bugs so you can skip the chemicals. I love you Burpee!

Rachel Piper: Bits & Pieces. Mystery puzzles, trick boxes, novelty banks—there’s a surprise on every page!
