What will be the first beer you sample Saturday at the City Weekly Utah Beer Festival?
Rachel Scott: I’m way stoked to try beer from Shades of Pale. I just barely heard of them and I am always up for something new!
Pete Saltas: Whichever vendor is set up nearest to the entrance will dictate which beer I try first.
Susan Kruithof: Jalapeño Creme Ale from Wasatch Brewery. I like me a spicy beer. So many beers, so little time. Can’t wait!
Cody Winget: My favorite Utah beer: Squatters Hop Rising.
Ben Rosch: I really want to try all the Crooked Line beers.
Ted Scheffler: Why, Bud Light, of course! No, wait ... let me think ... make that anything that Epic is pouring.
Dan Nailen: Whatever is closest to the music stage. I don’t want to walk and rock at the same time.
Jesse Fruhwirth: I’m ashamed to say I have not yet tried any Epic Brewing Company beers, I’ve only had—but loved—two of Uinta’s new Crooked Line beers. And from the makers of the best hef’ in the West, I also might grab first Desert Edge’s Summertime Kristalweizen.
Christopher Westergard: My first drink will be water—I am a designated driver.
Jerre Wroble: Speaking as a wino, I will take a sip of whatever amber or dark beer my boyfriend tries, and hope for the day we sponsor a wine-tasting.
