Looking to eat healthy in the new year? Oasis Cafe is here to help! Oasis Cafe's Chef de Cuisine Efren Benitez, has created special healthy weekly three-course meals running throughout the month of January for your "resolution dining." The dinners are priced at just $25 for three courses and change weekly. Benitez likes offering fresh fish, fruit and vegetables this time of year, when most people are cutting back on calories and fat after the holiday excesses. The nightly dinner special includes a nourishing choice of soup or salad and changing entree and dessert options. Menu items includes dishes such as Dover sole with spicy tomato sauce, basmati rice, broccoli and a traditional Mexican flan; fettuccine pasta with shrimp and creamy basil pesto sauce with a dessert of fruit tart with vanilla ice cream; and sautéed salmon in yellow curry sauce, coconut basmati rice, and baby carrots with pistachio tiramisu.
