City Weekly’s April 9 issue was full of laughs! Thank you.

After this winter, I needed these: Tom Owens’ “Two-Bit Street” and Kristen Sproul’s letter [“Regulate the Mexican!”] showing how totally clueless she is. Then, on page 6, making three pages in a row, you were on a roll: Saltas being a “crybaby” [“Raining Tears,” Private Eye] well done. On page 10, Ask a Mexican and Rant Control [“Pastrami Burgers Are Sacrosanct”], the “fraught with mischief” Beer Nut ad on page 11, Cecil Adams’ Straight Dope “Forever Young” on page 13—four pages of laughs! Now you’ve outdone yourselves!

It was also one of the best of Deep Ends [“Nearly News”]. K Chronicles is always one of my faves, but way in the back, what do we find but Babs De Lay’s words from the farm? Hilarious! I don’t see how you can top it. Thank you again.
