The Girl With the Dragon Tattoo
A troubled journalist (Daniel Craig) and an even-more-troubled punkette hacker (Rooney Mara) work to solve a 40-year-old disappearance case, uncover a vast conspiracy and just maybe work through some issues. But probably not. (Sony)

A Lonely Place to Die
A group of mountain climbers (led by Melissa George) rescue a young girl, only to become caught between ruthless kidnappers and even ruthless-er mercenaries sent to retrieve her by her war-criminal father. Rock/hard-place joke here. (IFC)

The Muppets
When a crazed Muppets fan discovers that an evil oil magnate is going to tear down the old Muppet Theater, he and Jason Segal assemble the old gang to save it. Or further a liberal environmentalist agenda, depending upon whom you ask. (Disney)

My Living Doll: Vol. 1
A government psychiatrist (Robert Cummings) brings home an experimental female robot (Julie Newmar) to teach her human ways. Since this was a 1965 TV series, no one saw how anything creepy or weird could possibly happen here. (MPI)

Roadie
When a broke roadie (Ron Eldred) gets fired from his 20-year gig with Blue Öyster Cult, he returns home to Queens to live with his mother and party hard with his old high school buds. See, kids? Rock & roll dreams really do pay off! (Magnolia)
