F’n HOT!
Cold weather got you down? Suffering the winter doldrums? Well, then head up to Park City, where it’s hotIt’s F’n Hot. That’s the clever name of a store on Main Street in Park City’s Old Town featuring all things hot and spicy. From bottled hot sauces and dips, to spicy snacks and drink mixers, if it’s caliente, It’s F’n Hot probably has it. Some of my favorite products here include Hog’s Ass Hot BBQ Sauce, Pain is Good Blue Cheese Wing Sauce, Scorned Woman Cocktail Magic, Dave’s Burning Nuts, Sonny Barger Hellfire Salsa and CaBoom Championship Chili Fixins. It’s F’n Hot also sells cooking aprons, cookbooks, glassware and useful kitchen tools like a jalapeño corer. This place is hot, hot, hot! 545 Main, Park City, 435-604-0910, ItsFnHot.com

Sunday Prime
Through the month of January, Fleming’s Prime Steakhouse & Wine Bar is offering a three-course prime rib dinner at the special price of $29.95 per person. The first course is a choice of Wedge, Fleming’s or Caesar salad, followed by prime rib with au jus, creamy horseradish and Dijon sauces and a choice of Fleming’s side dish. The third course is your choice of Fleming’s dessert. Fleming’s is located in The Gateway at 20 S. 400 West. Phone 801-355-3704 for reservations or go online to FlemingsSteakhouse.com.

Left Fork Brunch
According to owner/chef Jeff Masten, Left Fork Grill is now open for Saturday and Sunday brunch. Typical menu items include chipped beef on toast (SOS), chili verde omelet, eggs Benedict Florentine, beef barley soup, buckwheat pancakes and more. As you probably already know, the homemade pies here are awesome. Just be sure to give Jeff 24 hours notice before you pick one up. Left Fork Gill is located at 68 W. 3900 South. Phone 801-266-4322 or visit online at LeftForkGrill.ipower.com

Quote of the week: I don’t know about elk, but if I had some, I don’t think I’d grind it and eat it on a bun.
