Animal educator, conservationist, and allaround critter connoisseur, Jungle Jack Hanna will appear with his furry, feathery and scaly friends in tow at the Eccles Center in Park City. Learn interesting tidbits about animals, including fascinating facts about animal habitat, behavior, feeding and more, as Hanna introduces the audience to some of the finest specimens from the animal kingdom.

Jack Hanna has endeared himself to many through appearances on The Late Show with David Letterman, Good Morning America, Larry King Live, The Ellen DeGeneres Show, Entertainment Tonight, Hollywood Squares, Fox News, CNN programs, and other shows. He is currently hosting the TV series Jack Hanna’s Into the Wild, which received a 2008 Daytime Emmy for Outstanding Children’s Series. Hanna is the author of numerous educational books for children as well as other books, such as Jungle Jack: My Wild Ride, about his experiences as an animal ambassador and aficionado. For nearly two decades, Jack Hanna was director of the Columbus Zoo and Aquarium in Ohio.

Hanna, who is now director emeritus of the zoo, transformed the park from a rundown facility into a modern, world-renowned zoo that welcomes nearly 2 million visitors each year.

Fun for little and big kids alike, Hanna’s handson, down-to-earth approach to animals—as well as his Southern drawl and bushwhacking khaki attire—are sure to win over the entire family.
