Celeb Fever

One of the good things about living our Life Elevated has been Utah’s traditional dearth of celebrities behaving badly.

Sure, once in awhile Paul Lynde would get arrested for assaulting police at a Salt Lake City gay bar or Roseanne Barr would subject us to a comeback tour. But, on the whole, our state has been a blessed refuge from the type of person who might demand, at any moment, “Don’t you know who I am?”

{::INSERTAD::}Recent trends may spell an end to our idyll, however. Last week it was former “child” celebrity Gary Coleman acting up in Provo. This week, we were shocked to discover that Mean Girls star Lindsay Lohan will be in residence at a Sundance rehab center for the next 30 days following a cocaine- and DUI-related arrest in Los Angeles.

We hope this doesn’t lead to a stampede of Hollywood types descending upon us outside the designated January amnesty. So let it be known that the only powder to be found in Sundance is on the slopes during winter months.
