For authentic Chinese food and prompt, courteous and friendly service, head to Little World, a joint that would fit nicely into the world’s best Chinatowns.Start out with handmade potstickers stuffed with ground pork and Napa cabbage, and seasoned with a hint of star anise--they’re easily the best potstickers in town. The hot & sour soup is another must-have: rich, spicy broth spiked with Chinese black vinegar and bits of roast pork, tofu and cloud ear mushrooms. It would take a tome the size of a Salt Lake City phone book to do justice to the 300-plus dishes available at Little World--not counting family dinner combos for three to eight people. Try a big plate of steamed Manila clams bathed in a silky black-bean sauce, with onion and chopped green peppers or the roast duck with egg noodles. The servings are generous, so you get more than a bang for your buck. Located along State Street in Salt Lake City.
