The rumors are true —Lumpy’s Downtown has a mechanical bull. Pull a Travolta and try to beat eight seconds, if you can, during Lumpy’s Buckin’ Thursdays. Other new additions are ahoof, er, afoot, including football’s blessed return! During the season, weekly residencies move to the basement to make way for Monday Night Football. Karaoke still rules on Tuesdays and Sundays while Wednesdays are reserved for live music. On Sept. 9, local jazz-jam group Cholula headlined, delivering a toned-down hump-day set. Look for a repeat performance in the near future.

1 oz. Vodka
3/4 oz. peach Schnapps
3/4 oz. Bacardi 151
Dash of Sprite
Dash of Cranberry Juice
Garnish with citrus fruits and a cherry
Serve on ice
