We need your help.

Newspapers and media companies nationwide are closing or suffering mass layoffs since the coronavirus impacted all of us starting in March. City Weekly's entire existence is directly tied to people getting together in groups--in clubs, restaurants, and at concerts and events--which are the industries most affected by new coronavirus regulations.

Our industry is not healthy. Yet, City Weekly has continued publishing thanks to the generosity of readers like you. Utah needs independent journalism more than ever, and we're asking for your continued support of our editorial voice. We are fighting for you and all the people and businesses hardest hit by this pandemic.

You can help by making a one-time or recurring donation on PressBackers.com, which directs you to our Galena Fund 501(c)(3) non-profit, a resource dedicated to help fund local journalism. It is never too late. It is never too little. Thank you. DONATE

Miss CW 2012 Contestant: Serenity Panache

Jason Sin grew up in Hong Kong, China, and relocated to Utah at the age of 13. At a young age, Jason has always been motivated and hardworking. Not only is he a current student at the University of Utah studying Biology, Pre-Med, and Medical Laboratory Science, he is also an UnFranchise Owner with Market America at Executive Coordinator level, a Personal Shop Consultant at SHOP.COM, and a Cosmetics Consultant with Motives by Loren Ridinger. His goal is to share with others an incredible opportunity for financial success, and his dream is to empower others to be the best they can be, and live the life they've always dreamed of. Serenity Panache was born just over a month ago as an alter ego to Jason. In essence, Serenity has always been inside Jason's heart. Since he was little, he was always more fashionable, beauty oriented, and extroverted than many of his friends. Serenity was materialized after many prompting from friends and there have been no regrets in the creation of her. The name Serenity came from a Japanese anime, Sailor Moon. Princess Serenity in the anime was able to stand up to many struggles and prevail to the end. By naming his alter ego Serenity, that is also what Jason want to be able to do in his life.
