Did you ever fear losing life and limb?
We were tracting door to door (our least favorite activity). We approached a home that had tall double doors, one of which was open. We knocked. Suddenly out jumped a dog, barking and snarling ferociously about one inch in front of my pants. I screamed and jumped back. Fortunately, the dog was on a tight leash, and I lost only my composure that day.
