Featured on Food Network’s Diners, Drive-ins and Dives, Moochie’s is the place to go in downtown Salt Lake City for authentic-tasting Philly cheesesteaks. But the restaurant is about more than just cheesesteaks. Philadelphia-born owner Joanna Rendi assembles some of the tastiest meatballs around, as well. So, if you get into too much of a cheesesteak rut, just spice up your life with a meatball sandwich. The chicken cacciatore and deep-dish lasagna are also great, and be sure to try Don’s (Joanna’s husband) delicious “zappy” potato salad and a Tastykake, imported directly from Philly.
