Odyssey Dance Theatre rounds out every season with a spring repertory performance called Shut Up and Dance.
This year—the contemporary dance company’s 15th anniversary—ODT goes all out by presenting three different programmed evenings over a 10-day period beginning tonight.
As opposed to its more thematic evenings—such as Thriller and It’s a Wonderful Life—Shut Up and Dance finds Odyssey at its most eclectic. This series of performances will feature everything from the French “Can Can”—think Moulin Rouge—to the more classically narrative Giselle: A Modern Love Story.
Designed as a performance where dancers and choreographers alike can stretch their creative muscles, the bill also will include pieces from both past and current company members. To make the experience of catching all three shows affordable in these hard economic times, ODT is offering your second show at half price—and coughing up your third completely free of charge.
