The city is inviting feedback at an open house on the Sugar House Streetcar proposal, as well as the proposed Jordan and Salt Lake Canal bicycle and pedestrian trail. This weekend, check out a cool cat-adoption fundraiser event and a ski & snowboard sale, with proceeds benefiting the National Ability Center.

Thursday, Oct. 27

Two major projects are at a critical blueprint stage where city planners need residents to roll up their sleeves and help them with the planning process. Plans for a Sugar House Streetcar have been in development since 2006, as has a bicycle and pedestrian trail between 800 South and 3300 South along 1050 East. Whether it’s connecting the Sugar House business district with TRAX via a streetcar, or making new walkable river paths in the city, show up now and be a part of the process.
