Organizer and anarchist Scott Crow will be swinging through Utah on tour for his new book, Black Flags and Windmills: Hope, Anarchy and the Common Ground Collective and will be discussing how grass-roots movements have been creating real change from the ground up. His book touches upon the stories of groups like Occupy Wall Street that have worked outside of the inefficient and special-interest-serving government powers that be. Envision Art Show

On Friday, the students of Broadview Entertainment Arts University are hosting a gallery exhibit to raise awareness of sexual violence. The students are supported by the Rape Recovery Center, a nonprofit that provides refuge and assistance to the victims of sexual assault in Utah, of whom there are many—according to the center, 1 in 3 women in Utah have experienced sexual violence. The gallery exhibit is free, and members of the public will have an opportunity to share their own thoughts and feelings on sexual violence through a personalized art exhibit.
