On the air: Monday, Jan. 19 is Martin Luther King Jr. Day. In addition to celebrating MLK and Presidential Inauguration Eve, Pat’s BBQ will be throwing a party to celebrate the airing of a new episode of The Food Network’s Diners, Drive-ins and Dives, which features Pat’s BBQ. According to owner and Barbecue Czar Patrick Barber, the public is invited to Pat’s for an all-you-can-eat barbecue buffet, live music and the 8 p.m. airing of Diners, Drive-ins and Dives. Doors open at 6 p.m. and the cost per person is $30, which will help to pay the musicians. Pat’s BBQ is located at 155 West Commonwealth Avenue (2125 South) in South Salt Lake, and its phone is 484-5963. n
