This International Women’s Day, why not let the Girl Scouts of Utah help you celebrate the contributions of women in the world and at home here in Utah? This fundraiser event will feature a toast for Mary Nickles of KUTV 2. You can also enjoy cocktails and signature Girl Scout-themed desserts, along with entertainment and a silent auction. Tickets are $100 per person.

You can gather with your friends, colleagues and church congregation to elect precinct chairs and delegates who will attend conventions and speak for you when it comes to picking your representative. This is how democracy works, so it’s time to quit bitching from the sidelines and get involved.
