When punk/new-wave powerhouse The Epoxies blew a fuse in 2007, lead singer Roxy Epoxy continued down the path she stumbled upon seven years prior. A noted photographer with zero studio or stage experience when she first joined the defunct Portland quintet, Epoxy quickly embraced her role as the fierce, no-fuss commander of a group widely lauded for their visceral live shows. Bandaids on Bullet Holes, her new Metropolis Records release with the Rebound, is equally intense, though less frenetic than, The Epoxies’ hyper sound. It’s smoldering and deliciously unsettling, with Epoxy’s velvety pitch controlling the mood like a good Siouxsie Sioux jam. Burt’s Tiki Lounge, 726 S. State, 10 p.m. (with The Action Design)
