SC3, as they like to be called, is a local coalition of musicians that promotes and performs music created by composers currently living in Utah. Although many of the musicians themselves are classically trained, one never quite knows what to expect from a SC3 performance.

For their final event of the 2009 season, George vs. Georgette, SC3 uses 10 composers, 11 compositions and six performers to explore more traditionally classical pieces (such as David Sargent’s Musings on Chopin) juxtaposed against percussive-based improvisation and electronic exploration (like Dave Madden’s Every Album’s Got a Bitch Part and That’s the One For Me).
