Savor the Date
You’ll want to save the date—June 25, 2011—for the Park City Area Restaurant Association’s Savor the Summit. It’s Park City’s annual outdoor dinner party, when local restaurants set up the Grande Table down the middle of Main Street. The event showcases Park City restaurants’ cuisine and drink, along with live music. To get in on Savor the Summit, make reservations directly with the participating restaurants: 350 Main, Bangkok Thai, Bistro 412, Blue Iguana, Buona Vita, Cisero’s Ristorante, Chimayo (sold out), Cuisine Unlimited, Easy Street, High West Distillery & Saloon, Mustang, Park City Museum, Reef’s Restaurant, Royal Street Café, Shabu, Silver, Silver Star Café, The Bridge Cafe & Grill, Wahso (sold out) and Wasatch Brew Pub. For more information, visit SavorTheSummit.com.

Double Rye @ High West
High West Distillery in Park City has announced the release of a new rye whiskey called Double Rye. It’s a unique marriage of two different rye whiskeys: a 2-year-old straight rye with a high rye mash bill (95 percent) and a 16-year-old straight rye with a more typical (53 percent) mash bill. Malt Advocate, America’s leading whiskey magazine, called Double Rye “another winner from High West,” and said it is “perhaps the spiciest American whiskey I have ever tasted, yet at the same time, quite tame and mellow … a must-try for rye whiskey aficionados.” For more information about High West Distillery & Saloon, visit HighWest.com.

Kids Eat Free on Family Night
Through the end of May, Salt Lake City area Chipotle Mexican Grill locations are offering a free Kids’ Meal every Monday (Family Night) from 4 p.m. to close. Kids eat free with the purchase of one burrito, bowl, salad or order of tacos on Family Nights in May. Kids’ menu choices (with sides of rice and beans) include a cheese quesadilla, meat & cheese quesadilla, single taco or a “taco kit” (the kids build their own). For additional menu information, visit Chipotle.com.
