Now, I’m not an authority on such goings-on, but I do know a bit about baseball. Back in the day, I’d listen to the older guys in the locker room talk about “gettin’ to first base.” Now and again, through commitment, promises or maybe even a couple of lies, someone would “round second.” But when you got somebody naked and into the hot tub, it’s like the third-base coach waving you on because, buddy, you’re just about to slide into home plate.

However, I never heard of somebody roundin’ third without passing first and second, but if Garn says it happened, who am I to question him?
