Iggy’s Sports Grill
Iggy’s has great food and a great atmosphere at all of their locations, and many locations they have! Nine Iggy’s spread out up and down the Wasatch Front, as far north as Ogden and as south as St. George. Most downtown dwellers prefer the 423 W. 300 South spot, though. Some of the biggest screens in town are at Iggy’s; check ’em out on game day.
The Huddle
If you’re out of the downtown area by the benches, sit down and relax at The Huddle (2400 E. Ft. Union Blvd.). It’s a fun place to enjoy some pigskin and a pint away from the downtown melee.
Batters Up
Though it sounds like just a baseball bar, Batters Up (1717 S. Main) features all sports on several huge screens in multiple rooms. And despite the lack of windows, it’s surprisingly nice and bright inside.
Lumpy’s
The original Lumpy’s is a national treasure and the new one is a great addition to the Lumpy’s family. Dancing is more prevalent at the downtown location, but you’re more likely to find parking at the original (3000 S. Highland Drive). Both, however, are perfect places for games. The downtown location is enticing customers with more than just their beautiful cocktail waitresses and three levels of entertainment via several specials: Mondays have $1 tacos and 25 cent wings. Tuesdays feature $1 PBRs and $2 shots of Beam. Thursday night’s deal? Tall boys of PBR and shots of whiskey for $5. A few of those and you’ll need to catch a cab from the 145 Pierpont Ave. spot.
Lumpy’s Downtown Hotshots:
1. Katie Stevens, Amber Pratt
2. Josh Clark, Lauren Miller
3. Justin Picari, Penny Tatton
