Sundays@7 Faculty Spotlight: Anne McNamara, trumpet

When: Sun., Feb. 22, 7-8 p.m. 2015

Faculty trumpeter Anne McNamara teams up with pianist Lawrence Gee and organist Linda Margetts for an energizing performance. The program includes Petr Eben's "Windows for Trumpet & Organ," inspired by Marc Chagall's stained glass windows in the Hebrew University synagogue in Jerusalem. Also featured is Libby Larsen’s “Ridge Runner,” which refers to a slang term for audacious Americans, reminding Larsen of the daring spirit of the solo trumpeter!
