A City Weekly reader named Sandra has a Thai food and tea tip for you. She says: “I wanted to write and suggest a place for you to try. It’s called the Tea Rose Diner. Is is located at 65 E. Fifth Avenue (4880 South) in Murray, one block west of State Street, and the phone number is 801-685-6111. The service is friendly. They mostly serve Thai food and they will make it as spicy as you like. They have a separate menu just for their teas. They are a local restaurant. Please give them a try and a little publicity.”

From City Weekly staffers:
John Saltas:
St. George: Had an In-N-Out burger and don’t know what all the fuss is about. Good, not great; not worth the hubbub. Ate at Café Rio for the first time and while I’m not a fan of its type of folksy service line, the tortilla soup was very good, and the salads likewise. Had a really fine meal at the Riverwalk Grill at Sun River resort. I didn’t know there was such an adult place in St. George. Finally, avoid at all costs the JB’s Restaurant on Bluff Street. We went there because Denny’s right next door was overflowing. JB’s was empty, yet we ventured forth. Big mistake. Cold buffet. Cold hostess. Denny’s is like the Waldorf compared to this place.
