I saw the Brothers McMullen before I left. I was pretty into independent movies. In fact, I still am. I saw Napoleon Dynamite when I got home.

The first film I watched when I got back was Meet the Parents. It took me four weeks before I broke down and watched anything. It was kind of intense to be the first film to come back to. I didn’t really care for it. It was a rude awakening. For two years you’re not watching movies or TV, just focusing on serving people. So I just felt like I was wasting my time.
