At The Sweet Tooth Fairy you’ll find larger cupcakes than most, in a traditional assortment of flavors like chocolate, vanilla and toasted coconut, plus a few surprises like raspberry cheesecake and Key lime pie. The store lives up to its name—each cupcake is a glut of cavity-inducing sweetness, from the dense cake to the rich frosting topped with soda-shop touches like maraschino cherries.
Mini's Cupcakes, as the name suggests, offers small cupcakes that can be devoured in only few bites. But don’t be fooled; they pack a punch. The treats here are lavish concoctions like the Mary Ann, a vanilla cupcake filled with banana cream and topped with marshmallow frosting and toasted coconut.
Diva's Cupcakes & Coffee is a hip shop that offers a tame assortment of cupcake flavors with several vegan and gluten-free options. I’d recommend sticking with the earthier flavors like lemon berry and carrot cake, both of which had lovely natural flavors that were refreshingly not too sweet.
Despite its unassuming storefront, So Cupcake is an absolute gem. Offering both regular and mini cupcakes in a rainbow of colors, this shop takes the cake. Toppings are fairly simple—just bright frosting with gems or sprinkles, but the flavors are spot-on. You can’t go wrong with traditional flavors like the elegant red velvet, or more colorful offerings such as lime or fresh strawberry.
