The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints has recently encouraged members to start blogging about their faith in a new effort to educate the world about Mormonism. City Weekly asked Pam March owner of floral store Every Blooming Thing, if she thought the Internet was an appropriate medium to reach out to people on issues of personal faith?
It’s absolutely appropriate. We all have the choice to look up those blogs and read them—or not. It’s the same sort of idea as looking at porn online, but on an opposite scale. Like religious blogging, we all have the option to look at it, or not. Besides, I’m sure the LDS Church isn’t the only religion using the Internet to broadcast their beliefs.
