Salt Lake Antiques manager Michelle Evans says parking enforcement is out of control downtown.

“Over Christmas, [when] they made it free parking, people loved it. The parking in the middle is awesome. [But] with parking tickets, I just think it’s kind of out of hand. … We unload containers of furniture, and they used to give us free pass, a day pass. Now they charge a crazy amount of money for it. We get tickets all the time. … I would like it if they would make it easier for people to take care of their parking tickets, instead of making it in a building where there’s no parking. It’s ridiculous. Everybody goes over there and they get a ticket while they’re waiting to pay their parking ticket.
