Anna Brozek recently moved to Salt Lake City with husband Chris Brozek to open the Slow Train record store on 300 South. She gave her initial impressions of the city:

It’s a nice, clean downtown, but I think it’s sad that everything shuts down on Sundays. Like, there’s actually nothing going on, so really you’re down to a one-day weekend when it should be a two-day weekend. A whole day is gone. We were open, and people just don’t even consider coming down because they’re like, “Oh, it’s Sunday and [Slow Train is] downtown. They must be closed.” I think I’d like to see that change, but it’s a nice, clean functional downtown.
