Save the Wild Mustangs Fundraiser
Tuesday, June 7

According to the nonprofit Save the Wild Mustangs, more than 2 million horses roamed wild in America 100 years ago. Now, there are only 15,000 in 10 states—down from 28,000 last year, due to federal roundups. Because of nationwide petitions, the spring mustang roundup was postponed to July 1 to gather 5,000-8,000 more horses. So, Save the Wild Mustangs is racing against the clock to get help petitioning, raising awareness, supporting wild-horse adoption, acquiring sanctuary land and funding the documentary Healing Power of Horses. Frida Bistro, 545 W. 700 South, 801-983-6692, June 7, 6-10 p.m., $25 advance/$30 day of, $150 VIP, SaveTheWildMustangs.com
